As a full-service recycler, Super Link provides its clients an outlet for their OCC (cardboard) and mixed paper. We divert this scrap from the landfill to be made into new paper products. According to Paper Chase, 90% of paper pulp today is made of fiber from trees and, globally, fiber production accounts for about 35% of felled trees. Recycling of 1 ton of newsprint saves about 15 mature trees, while recycling 1 ton of printer or copier paper saves slightly more than 2 tons of wood. Recycling of paper continues to grow in the US. OCC has had a long and strong history of reuse in the global economy.
